Meet 2022 Valliance Bank Trailblazer Amy Khale
Amy is the Owner of Communion Neighborhood Cooperative + Ironwood Landscape and Irrigation. Amy and her husband, Tim wanted to create a place where people could gather in their community. In 2013, they found a neighborhood in Richardson and wanted to raise their family there. In 2016, a space in Richardson went up for sale, and Amy and Tim knew that was the spot where they would start their business. Through all the aspects of running a business, they opened their doors in November of 2017. As a mom of 4, she wears many hats as a businesswoman, mother, and wife.
"I think a lot of people can benefit when women get out there and they’re represented…and our daughters are watching us. And I think it’s so important for them to see that they can do something."
Bringing community together through coffee, coworking, and events.
